Adnan Agha

Adnan Agha loves his grandparents. That's them in the picture. They're back in Syria now. They're happy to be home. He tries to explain what he does to them. Sometimes he makes games, sometimes he does artsy stuff, or computer-y stuff. (That's pretty much how it comes across in his mediocre Arabic.) They don't really understand but they're still proud of him and he thinks that's enough.

This piece is an adaptation of Robert Patrick's play Left Out, a performance piece enabled by its visitors (you!) which seeks to embody and echo the tone of the original work. It is just as much about the visitors as the space they embody. Neither exists without the other. Seriously. This is about you. So take a breath and listen to yourself. Ok! Good luck!
