Ana Konstantinović is a theatre director and co-founder of Eho animato collective, established in 2011 in Belgrade. She holds a PhD in multimedia theatre from the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. Her work spans theatre performances, radio plays, documentary films, staged readings, and digital performances, often characterized by an experimental, multimedia approach and collective creation models. She has also been actively involved as a producer in various interdisciplinary international projects, applying performative techniques to explore diverse topics.
Ana has a background in mentoring and facilitating creative workshops for youth, as well as for theatre professionals. She served as a mentor in the emerging playwrights workshop, New Stages South East, a project by the Goethe Institute in 2021/22. She also worked as the curator and coordinator of Education programs at the National Theatre in Belgrade from 2018 to 2023.
She collaborated with CultureHub New York and La MaMa e.t.c. on "Downtown Variety: Serbia edition“, where Eho animato curated the show and produced two live translocational performances – Mirror Glaze and Venoms in the Kitchen. With the Eho animato collective, she also organized and participated in two CultureHub Convenings in Belgrade (2021 and 2023), which gathered local and regional artists and facilitated the workshop "Creative Strategies in Digital Performance" at the National Theater in Prague, Czech Republic, as part of the Crossroads festival.
