Caroline Sinders is an award winning critical designer, researcher, and artist. They are the founder of human rights and design lab, Convocation Research + Design. They've worked with the Tate Exchange at the Tate Modern, the United Nations, Ars Electronica’s AI Lab, the Harvard Kennedy School and others. Caroline is based between New Orleans, La and London, UK.
“In the time of the climate crisis, what if tech scaled down, instead of up? Potato Internet reimagines the internet during our climate emergency by using potatoes and mesh networks made of recycled waste like e-ink displays to create a slow, small scale social network.
