Graphic with white text and dark background titled 'Interspecies Speed Dating' in thin beveled lettering, accompanied by two cute examples of interspecies relationships - one photo of a mouse riding a frog and another of a fish cleaning the mouth of a shark. On the side is a drawn heart with the note 'sign up by filling out a dating profile!'.

Finally a fun and flirty dating session for not humans, not just the birds and bees, but all species looking for kin! Sign up as your species of choice and find common ground with long-time admirers, lovers from a past life, as well as surprising new matches. Discover mutual friends. Connect over your favorite foods and seasons. Bond over hobbies like pollinating, photosynthesizing, or foraging. Trade tips for moving habitats because ‘it’s getting way too hot over here!’. In these uncertain times, Interspecies Speed Dating is your chance to discover symbiotic soulmates across the web of life.

To participate, fill out a dating profile for your species of choice and stay tuned for an email with details for Zoom. Those with little or no ecological expertise are especially welcome, though we encourage everyone to enjoy some light research on your species ahead of the session. Please direct any questions to Alice Yuan Zhang by email at intrinsicolor@gmail.com or Instagram at @aliceyuanzhang. See you soon!

Interspecies Speed Dating is part of Tender Data, a year of participatory experiments created by CultureHub Resident Artist Alice Yuan Zhang for playful ancestors of the future.
