What would it look like to inhabit a memory—to be able to take a step back, look to the left or right, to feel the sunlight of another time on your skin? Working and building with archival images, participants will each craft a memory enclave—a virtual space in Mozilla Hubs—around a personal or family object of their choosing, like an heirloom or photograph. Using CultureHub’s studio space, we will project the memory and “visit” it as an immersive experience.
This workshop is a part of Jeffrey Yoo Warren and Ann Chen’s CultureHub residency “Community Memory Enclaves.” To participate in this and other workshops related to their residency, sign up using the google form linked above. This workshop will be hosted in-person at the CultureHub studio in NYC.
This event is supported by the CultureHub Residency Program.
