Vital Signs

Vital Signs Title.jpg

Tune into the livestream of Vital Signs, a telematic concert about the interconnectedness between humankind and nature, engaging artists and audiences across borders both virtually and in real spaces. Artists in New York and Korea interweave sound, visuals, and movement remixing the bio-data of the performers and projecting them onto holographic screens. Online and offline audience participation is intertwined into the performance in real-time as a surreal media layer.

Vital Signs connects global audiences using LiveLab and other custom-built software and explores new possibilities for online performance and audience presence. Vital Signs is directed by Bosul Kim and is performed by Bill Ruyle, Peter Zummo, and John Gutierrez in New York, and Yoon Jeong Keo, Jeongsoo Oh, Honggi Kim, Jeonghoon Pi, and Kyueun Jeong in Korea. Vital Signs is produced by Seoul Institute of the Arts and CultureHub, and supported by the Korea Creative Content Agency.
