How can we use ancestral and digital technologies to inaugurate body-conscious modes of institutional performance and revolutionize oppressive bylaws and operating procedures that ignore the needs of our bodies in transcultural and transnational forms of poetic participation, communication, and organization?

The workshop with POETIC SOCIETIES will start with a somatic meditation on Proprioception/Interoception led by Senior Iyengar teacher Hong Gwi-Seok followed by hands-on contract writing and Q/A with lawyers Zena Ozeir and Sarms Jabra. The workshop is curated and moderated by POETIC SOCIETIES Founder, Ava Ansari with contributions by Halima Cassells, Taraneh Fazeli, Lila Nazemian, and Lisi Raskin.
