Let’s go for a walk! In this second walk with Nuum Collective, we will go for a walk individually, wherever we happen to be, yet joined together by the sound of our voices through a mass phone call. We will follow instructions, follow strangers, follow the cracks on the ground. We will go somewhere familiar and make it feel unfamiliar. We will turn when someone passes by and see them for the second time.

We walk to find a common denominator, a connection that is pure. Not through mutual understanding, which is impossible but through a willingness to participate. 

This walk is open to the public. Join the Zoom call from wherever you are.

1. How long will it take?
1 hour

2. Where will we walk?
Walk from wherever you are. If possible, walk towards where there will be people (e.g. commercial area).

3. What should I wear? How should I prepare?
Try to walk with as little stuff as possible. Wear comfortable clothes and comfortable walking shoes. Wear headphones with a built-in mic so that you can leave your phone in your pocket during the walk.

Download the Zoom app for your phone. Wear headphones with a built-in mic so that you can leave your phone in your pocket during the walk.

5. Is this a performance I watch?
No! It is intended for the public to participate. No performance experience necessary. But also yes, you can watch it as a livestream on the CultureHub website.

6. How do I join the call?
We will provide you with a Zoom link by email after you register through Eventbrite. 

7. Can I join at any time? Can I leave at any time?
Yes, however the walk follows an hour-long narrative so you will have the best experience if you start at the beginning and end at the end.

8. Do I have to register?
Yes, it is the only way you will receive the Zoom link for the call.
