From Maize to Bioplastics

Bioplastics Workshop.jpg

Facilitated by Alvaro Azcarraga, the bioplastics workshop will focus on our relationship to the land and our personal histories. Through a guided workshop looking into simple maize-based bioplastics, we will transform and create biodegradable plastic sheets that reimagine our dependency on petrochemicals, question industrial agriculture practices, as well as embed our own personal narratives within bioplastic sheets.

Register via the link below to receive a link to the workshop on Zoom. Upon registration, participants will receive an e-mail with instructions and materials to prepare for the workshop.

A portion of free tickets are reserved for the workshop. If you cannot afford a ticket at this time, please email refest@culturehub.org and CultureHub will arrange a free ticket.
