CultureHub’s promotional poster for our 2019 re-staging of Paul Foster’s Balls. This poster, designed by Grant Gregory, combines hand-painted and digitally scanned elements with a title layout inspired by the original 1964 Balls poster in the LaMaMa Archives. Two copies of the poster signed by playwright Paul Foster are available.

Balls originally premiered at Café La MaMa on November 3, 1964 and consisted of two ping pong balls floating pendulum-like in and out of a spotlight, with pre-taped voices performing Foster’s surreal characters’ dialogue.
